Re: Miscarriage After Ectopic-Success stories needed!

Hi. I’m actually in Australia. I’m not sure if they do it under the NHS. But I did ovulation tracking which was pathologist led. Just gives you an idea on what your hormones are at.

Re: Miscarriage After Ectopic-Success stories needed!

My story is similar. Expectantly managed ectopic and miscarriage at 5 weeks. I did have my daughter between these. I had a short luteal phase so looked into my progesterone before having her. Pooled progesterone tests etc. Did acupuncture for three months too. Fell pregnant naturally and had zero pr...

Pregnant and worried.

I don’t know if I have a question or if I just need to air my feelings. This is my fourth pregnancy, I have one child. My first pregnancy was an expectantly managed ectopic which I got little closure from as it took 8 months to resolve. My third pregnancy was a chemical miscarriage which was unplann...

At how many weeks did you rupture?

I had my first ectopic managed by expectant management. Then I had my daughter. I now find myself pregnant again. Bloods are very low and doesn’t look viable. This is probably a stupid thing to say but my parents are visiting for Xmas (Oz) we only see eachother at most once a year and have booked a ...

Re: Rainbow after expectant management

Yes it’s an exhausting experience but be positive as you’ll get there. (I know hard to believe sometimes) take care of yourself it’s really draining. The way I look at it now my daughter wouldn’t be here now if it wasn’t for that horrible period of my life... but I was definitely unhinged at times...

Rainbow after expectant management

Just want to give some hope as I read these forums for months on end after suffering my ectopic in April 2017. It was managed conservatively and it was a long and emotionally tiring process. My daughter was born on 31/08/18 and although I know I’ll fear those initial weeks of any future pregnancies ...

Re: Period after expectantly managed ectopic pregnancy

My Gyno gave me the go ahead to TTC but it was still there in Nov and I conceived in Dec. When I went for my six week scan they couldn't see the mass from the ectopic so I feel like my body was waiting until that was over. Sounds crazy I know. Now 14 weeks so there is hope. I found it very hard to d...

Re: Period after expectantly managed ectopic pregnancy

My period came two weeks after my levels reached zero but the mass took longer to dissolve, I say about six months. Everyone's different I suppose.

Re: Short periods after ectopic pregnancy

I had a similar situation and my gyno was concerned that my endometrium lining wouldn't be thick enough for embryo to implant if it was shedding in two days. But I managed to conceive despite this. I'd keep a diary though and maybe see a gyno. I used kindara app and gave my gyno the print outs.

Re: Should I ttc with mass still there?

I still had a mass 7 months later but conceived at 8 months and they couldn't see the mass at six week scan. Part of me thinks my body was waiting for it to absorb before I conceived. (Unlikely I know) I read another lady saying she had a second ectopic because it got stuck on the first mass but my ...

Re: Something wrong with me

I had estrogen, LH & Progesterone blood tests every second day for a cycle. I also had a scan to see if I was ovulating properly. I didn't conceive for 4 months of trying. Did the cycle tracking & decided to wait then until 2018 but I'm surprisingly 4.5 weeks. I think just not being so hung ...

Don't be concerned by that comment. I still have a mass 8 months later but not at risk of rupture.

My period arrived 14 days after my levels reached 6. Do you still have a mass there? Have they scanned you?
