Re: Lump behind belly button 2 weeks after surgery

Because they have punctured the connective tissue due to their entry, a small hernia may have developed. I have that. I’m 9 weeks post.
Best to get it checked out by your doc tho as everyone’s different.
Sending love. It gets easier and tummy looks less weird each week x x x

Re: Struggling with pain 2 years after ectopic

Heya - I’m so sorry for your loss but it was also nice to read of your happy new to have a little girl. Even before this ectopic earlier this week I have had terrible pain in my whole abdomen around the time of ovulation - where every footstep hurt and sitting down I’d have to do carefully so as not...

Bleeding after ectopic surgery

Hi there I know you’re not medically trained, but am after people’s experiences I guess... In terms of bleeding after having a tube removal following ectopic pregnancy - what was any bleeding (down there) like? I had none since my surgery on Tuesday, but last night (Friday night) fresh red blood beg...

Re: Embarrassed to tell people

Well done for telling those ppl PrettyinPink. Take things one day at a time and tell ppl you are comfortable telling when you feel it’s right. X x Your mum friends have probably been through miscarriages And some c sections/messy births - so May be able to understand some parts of what you’re going ...

Re: Embarrassed to tell people

We had our operation on the same day, Tuesday this week - so I’m right there with you on that. I think I’m still in shock tbh. I bled for ten days before the ectopic was found, so I’m wondering (hoping) that I have already dealt with the baby loss aspect - wishful thinking I reckon. I had a miscarri...

Re: When will it get easier?

Hey pretty in pink Book an appt with your GP for just before your sign off ends so they can review your tummy and mood. I do think it depends on the person, the job you do and what your colleagues are like. I was told that recovery would be easier than c section - it is - but only a bit (so far). Th...

Re: Ectopic pregnancy without pain?

Hi there I didn’t have any pain at all with my ectopic- HcG levels were over 4000 and had doubled nicely in the correct timeframes. I did however have bleeding from about 5 weeks and a scan (preg of unknown location). The scan at 6.5 weeks saw the ectopic and it was removed along with my tube the da...

Re: How to heal mentally & what now?

Hey Efordx I’m sorry that I have only just seen your post. I am just home from my ectopic surgery the day before yesterday and have just found this forum. You should definitely speak to the head of your teacher training course. S/he will certainly be sympathetic to you. And there is always the possi...

Re: Embarrassed to tell people

Bless you!! I had my ectopic pregnancy operated on on Tuesday (2 days ago) and I must admit I paused before I told my parents. I somehow found it easier to tell my friends. Everyone is different. I did. And I’m glad I did. Everyone has probably done a fair amount of googling and my 77y old dad has p...

Operation Wounds

Hello lovely ladies. I had my tube and the pregnancy within removed the day before yesterday, and I’ve just removed the dressings in the shower. They all look pretty much the same. My question is: was the wound in your belly button by far the most sore of the three entry points?? Does anyone know wh...

Hiya Anna - I’m so sorry for your loss and how you get when you typed your post x x x Are you feeling any brighter? I do honestly think there is a way YOU can come back. I really hope so. You are a bit ahead of me (I had my ectopic removed the day before yesterday - 13th Oct) and although I feel exa...

Re: Ectopic or miscarriage

Poor you Hanaban. You’ve really been through the mill!! I had to last just over a week not knowing if I was pregnant or had miscarried and it was so hard. The end result was that I had an ectopic (found this Monday and op on Tuesday). My HcG levels were doubling nicely and my progesterone was as it ...

Re: ovulation after ectopic

I know exactly what you mean. I had a miscarriage in July (and an ectopic earlier this week). After the miscarriage there was nothing I wanted more than to get back on the wagon. I don’t think the two are linked - but perhaps trying so hard caused my ectopic. That’s how I feel anyway. I also feel an...

Re: Readjusting back to normal life

Hey Nina- I’m so sorry for your loss x x x

My ectopic was found on Monday and tube removed on Tuesday. I was told the recovery is ok but it feels bloody terrible at the moment. How quickly could you walk to the end of your road and back again? X x x
