Hello, I think I have - I had an ectopic on my right side last October, treated with methotrexate. Currently 28 weeks and ovulated from the right side (they told be at my early scan). I conceived in February, so 5 months after the ectopic, on the first month trying. I took 5mg daily folic acid for 1...

Hello, so sorry you're going through this - it's a really tough time. I had two doses of methotrexate too back in October, and my levels peaked at 1300. The following week they dropped to 1052, was then given a second dose. They then fell: First week - 329 Second week - 129 Third week - 62 Fourth we...

Oh I forgot to write that one of the nurses mentioned that the drop tends to be slower if you're under 100 which I have seen in my results. That initial big drop slowed and once I got under 100 it was dropping less quickly. Could be that yours is dropping slowly because your levels are relatively lo...

Hello, I know how you feel, it's a tough road monitoring the HCG drop (and hard not to be obsessive!). I was diagnosed about six weeks ago, after two weeks of them monitoring my HCG rising (it was at 70 when I first went in, but they couldn't see anything til it got up to over 1000). My levels went:...

Just updating in case it's useful for others - my day 14 after second dose of methotrexate hcg level was 129. (highest it got to was 1300 on day 4 after my first dose). So seems to be falling well. I had more pain and bleeding on day 12 so they did a scan and all looks clear, including the cyst that...

Hello, I had my second dose and asked this question, the doctors assured me that it remains as 3 months before you can TTC from your last dose. I've seen on other posts on here that the ectopic Trust recommends taking folic acid supplements for 3 months from when your hcg level reaches zero, which i...

I just had my Day 4 results post second methotrexate dose - hcg has dropped really well, by more than 50%! I'm so pleased and hopeful that this will continue and I'll be down to zero soon. I will say that the second dose has been tougher on my body (more pain and bleeding than first time around) alt...

You're so sweet to remember - yes, unfortunately they've not dropped enough and I had a second dose this afternoon. Really hoping it does the trick! Back to waiting for day 4 results (again).

Just wondered how you got on with your day 7 results @mowakasha? I have my day 7 blood test tomorrow and am in a similar position to you - not too much action just some mild cramping and nausea, and pink spotting. Also nervous of needing a second dose... Thanks, and sorry you're going through this t...

That sounds really difficult, I'm sorry you're going through this. I think the pregnancy tests they use at hospital are not very sensitive - when I first went in I'd had 3 positive tests yet they told me the test they did was so faint it looked like a negative. They took bloods and my hcg was low (j...
