Ectopic expectant management and bbt
However for the past 4 days my bbt has been increasing.
Does anyone know if there is a relationship between rising bbt and ectopic? I’m worried that the increasing bbt means that the hcg is also rising?

Re: Ectopic expectant management and bbt
I am so sorry to hear you are suffering an ectopic pregnancy and going through this worrying time. I'm not medically qualified and cannot say whether there is a correlation between bbt and rising hcg. What I can recommend, especially as you are managing the ectopic pregnancy expectantly, is to keep a diary of your symptoms and the date, time, and intensity of each. If you are monitoring your bbt, this can be part of the record. When speaking with your health care workers, you will be able to share this diary.
In the meanwhile, I know waiting for hCG levels to reduce can be an anxious time, and while I don't want to worry you, there remains a chance of rupture until you are at the non-pregnant levels (below 5mIU/ml). For these reasons, it is important to stay alert to any symptoms of pain, particularly abdominal or shoulder tip pain, or heavy bleeding. In these cases, you will want to be seen at the A&E.
These boards are a safe space for you, and we here for you for as long as you need.
With good wishes,
