I am so sorry to hear of your ectopic pregnancy and loss,
Unfortunately I am not medically trained so I would advise speaking to a medical professional such as your GP or local family planning team regarding restarting contraception.
I thought I'd mention that before having a period you have to ovulate and it is possible to become pregnant without having a proper period first, if you are not using contraception. We have more information on contraception here:
