What to expect?
What to expect?
I'm off work this week (amazing bosses) but am trying to work out when to go back. We have really grim, shared toilets at work and I don't want to be there experiencing a nightmare period, but if it's going to continue being this constant yet light brown then I think I can manage. Also not sure about exercise? Again, lots of post - surgery advice.
Any advice appreciated.

Re: What to expect?
I am so sorry to hear of your ectopic pregnancy and losses, especially after all you have been through and I am sorry you are having to go through this.
Your bleeding and pain levels sound normal for this stage. As I am not medically trained and pain is so subjective, I do always advise speaking though any concerns with your medical team. This should be done urgently with any significantly worsening pain or bleeding.
We have more information about treatment with expectant management on our website and additional information on bleeding which I have included in the link below.

With regards to work, many women find they have to take longer off to deal with the emotional impact of ectopic pregnancy. Be kind to yourself and allow time to recover both physically and emotionally. You can speak to your doctor to arrange this if needed.
We will be here for you for as long as you need,
Sending much love,
Karen x
