Internally bleeding , can it happen again?

Post by Jodie Sabina »

Xmas eve 2017 I had a ruptured ovary eptopic pregnancy , had surgery they luckily were able to stitch up my ovary anyway
I’ve started to feel slightly un well , my stomatch has started to get weird pains , and feeling light headed more often ,
I remember this happening the week my ovary ruptured ,

Is it possible that the ovary could bleed out again? As in the stitching un doing it’s self?
I do feel like something isn’t right and it’s starting to feel like when I started to internally bleed
It’s a weird feeling

Dear Jodie Sabina,
Sadly I am not medically trained so cannot give you specific advice on your symptoms.
Experiencing some pain after an ectopic pregnancy is normal as your body has been through a great deal over the last few months. The pain may be due to adhesions (scar tissue that binds two parts of the body together) which form and take some time to settle. Your body may be preparing to ovulate and many women experience ovulation pain when they did not before their ectopic pregnancy - including myself. You also may have a heightened perception because of the sad loss that you have had to go through. If you find you experience offensive smelling discharge or an increased temperature of more than 37°C or just want to be checked out to be on the safe side, it would be worth asking your doctors to run tests to check for infection.
There are many causes of dizziness so if you are still feeling dizzy, I would advise getting reviewed by your GP or doctor.

Sending much love,
Karen x
