Ectopic with Negative pregnancy test
Hope this is ok to ask on here. I had an ectopic 6 years ago, and I remember I had a mixture of test results positive and negative.
Does anyone know if it’s possible to have an ectopic and have solely negative pregnancy tests?
Thanks

Re: Ectopic with Negative pregnancy test
It isn’t common to have an ectopic pregnancy with a negative home pregnancy test. It does depend on the levels of hormone that the home test registers, some are more accurate than others. I always advise testing with your first urine of the day.
If you have concerns, I would recommend speaking to your GP or medical team, who can complete a blood test for the hCG pregnancy hormone, if they feel that it is appropriate.
Sending much love,
