I didn't fly but I had a long trip in the car a week after surgery, don't know if a flight would be different.

Dear Amb,
I don't think there is anything set in stone about when you can fly after surgery. I am not medically trained and I would advise speaking to your GP or medical team about this if your surgery was recent as they will have your medical notes and know your medical history to advise further. I would also inform your holiday insurance company as if you were to get any complications that needed treatment and you did not inform them of your recent surgery, it may invalidate an insurance claim.

Sending much love,
Karen x
