One week recovery

Post by CamilaGuell »

Hello.
My name is Camila. Last week, after a month bleeding, and knowing something was not right, I took a pregnancy test and when I saw the positive result drove straight to Hospital.
I was not looking for a pregnancy, so the first thing for me to accept it was the fact that I was, somehow, pregnant.

I had my right tube removed on that same day. Now its been a week out of the hospital. I am angry, I am sad and then all the sudden, I am supper energyzed and as if nothing happened.
My partner closes off as he always do and I feel left alone. As if this just happened to me.
I am scared of loosing my hope and getting too low... Cant find the peace and understanding with this situation jet.

Dear Camila,
I am so sorry to hear of your ectopic pregnancy loss,
When we experience ectopic pregnancy, we are suddenly faced with a life threatening emergency, it's treatment and the loss of our babies. Experiencing any one of these is an ordeal, putting them together is immense and your feelings are completely normal. After a traumatic event, it can take up to 12 weeks to start to even process the our emotions. It is still really early in your road to recovery, allow time to grieve, to heal both physically and emotionally.
We will be here for you for as long as you need,
Sending much love,
Karen x
