PUL after IVF

Post by Sazzles »

My history is complicated. 1 miscarriage, 1 self resolving ectopic and a pul requiring methotrexate. 2 failed fresh rounds of IVF. 1st FET, positive!! But....
Went for 6 week scan yesterday...nothing. signs of hemorrhage but no sac. Nothing in the tubes that they could see.
Bloods came back yesterday at 81. Now I am back in for a blood test tomorrow, but experiencing bleeding and terrible cramps (could put it down to the ridiculous heat) but its not!

They checked my tubes were clear on the scan, but is it possible for a rupture still to occur?

I know I will get my bloods back tomorrow, but I am terrified!!

Dear Sazzles,
I am so sorry to hear you are going through such a worrying time. It is just so difficult when we do not know what is going on with our bodies and I am so sorry to hear you are going through this.
It is positive to hear that they haven't been able to see anything in your tubes, however this cannot exclude ectopic pregnancy. Your levels are also very low which is another positive.
It is good to hear that you are being followed up closely but I would strongly advise seeking urgent medical advice with any worsening bleeding or pain,
Sending much love and warm hugs,
Karen x
