Fundraising for The EPT
Why The EPT needs your support
We are the leading charity that focuses on ectopic pregnancy to provide such extensive general information and peer support for anyone that has experienced the condition
There is a crucial need for The EPT. When someone has a suspected ectopic pregnancy or is diagnosed with the condition, they and their partners have many questions and worries. We are here to provide those affected with somewhere to go, providing information and support. People gain comfort from being among others who had had a similar experience and many healthcare professionals signpost families to our services so that we can be there in the days, weeks, and even months ahead.
I chose this charity due to the kindness and support that I received after my surgery. They listened and encouraged me alongside my family and friends. They allowed me to express my thoughts and encouraged me to reach out and be open with my situation. Although devastating, the experience has proven to me that I have so much unending support and EPT have been an invaluable part of that.- An EPT Fundraiser
How you can make a difference
Money raised by our fundraisers means that we provide our services free of charge to anyone who turns to us in their time of need. Without our fundraisers, we simply would not exist.
This website, our information leaflets, and our range of support routes would not be here supporting people in their darkest days. We receive no government or corporate funding. As a tiny, niche charity, we rely on our fundraisers to keep us going.
Continue reading below to find out about our fundraising campaigns or check out our fundraising inspiration.
We have created a wellness guide to help you through your fundraising journey. We also offer a complimentary vest or t shirt to those who sign up to fundraise for us. You can hand out our fundraising leaflets to your supporters. There is also a short presentation that we have created for fundraisers if you would like to share your activity with a brief talk to raise awareness at your workplace. Finally, many of our fundraisers find using our branded items can be a great way to start conversations, raise awareness and generate interest in their fundraising. Please free to take a look at our online shop.
If you are interested in fundraising and require any reasonable adjustments to be made for our messages or calls with you, please let us know when you get in touch.
I would like to raise money to help this charity… I had never really heard of an ectopic pregnancy until it happened to me. I was and still am devastated. If I could receive some information about the charity and what fundraising I can do to support others and raise awareness it would be most appreciated.- An EPT fundraiser

Celebrations and remembering on important dates
Facebook Birthday Fundraisers make donating on birthdays easy.
For any important dates that are special to you, you can donate instead of distributing favours and we have thoughtful thank you notes that can be added to table settings. You can set up a JustGiving online page and invite family, friends and colleagues to make a donation in lieu of gifts and leave a personal message.
Hold an EPTea Party
Many people tell us how a cup of tea and piece of cake with a friend or family member can provide some much-needed comfort during their recovery.
Combine a cuppa with friends and raising awareness and funds with holding an #EPTea Party.
More fundraising inspiration!
As well as The EPT’s fundraising activities, we are also able to offer flexibility – you can be creative and find or organise an activity that appeals to you. Set a personal goal with a focus; many consider and value participation in a fundraising activity as part of their personal recovery journey.
Popular activities include local walks, runs, cycles, swims and even skydives. You can develop an activity that is meaningful to you in your area or see what other fundraisers have done for inspiration.
… And if you don’t have an idea as yet, don’t worry, just get in touch and we can help with tonnes of inspiration.
