To raise awareness of ectopic pregnancy having many voices join in can make such a difference. Collaborating with other charities and organisations has an important role to play. We were honoured when the charity Our Sam founder, Philippa, approached us to highlight ectopic pregnancy in their first ever three-part special focus Talking Out Loud podcast.
In part one, Philippa and Our Sam Trustee and Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, Hemant Maraj, talk about the medical side of ectopic pregnancy including symptoms, diagnosis, and medical care
Part two features a conversation with Kerri, The EPT’s Social Media Coordinator about her experience of ectopic pregnancy. Kerri opens up about the effects ectopic pregnancy had on her both physically and mentally and her role with the charity.
The three-part special focus concludes with The EPT’s Director, Munira, talking with Philippa about the important role and work of The Ectopic Pregnancy Trust within the pregnancy and baby loss community as well as her own experience of the condition.
We are extremely grateful to Philippa and the team at Our Sam for creating such important conversations and for highlighting ectopic pregnancy, and the impact the condition can have on those affected.
