Support The EPT as a business
Building Corporate Community: Donating, Fundraising, Volunteering
Thousands of us each year are affected by fertility challenges, pregnancy and baby loss, women’s health issues and more broadly bereavement and grief. Often, many of those in the workplace will suffer alone in silence, unsure of how or whether to ask for help.
Your business can make a big difference by partnering with The Ectopic Pregnancy Trust to get behind a hidden women’s health issue. You can not only help raise awareness of what can be a life-threatening experience, but also stand behind the many people and families sadly affected by pregnancy and baby loss, now and in the future.
You can help our small charity save lives, advance much needed education (in and out of the workplace), and provide crucial support to anyone who finds themselves navigating this devastating experience.

Some frequently asked questions about supporting us the EPT as a business
What is an ectopic pregnancy?
Ectopic pregnancy is a common yet relatively unknown type of pregnancy loss which can also risk the pregnant woman/person’s life. It occurs when an embryo implants in a location other than in the space of the uterus. The condition is often misdiagnosed as miscarriage, an upset stomach, or an infection.
Around one in 80 pregnancies is ectopic. Every year, nearly 12,000 women in the UK are diagnosed with an ectopic pregnancy. From anecdotal evidence, it is believed the number of cases of ectopic pregnancy may number more than 30,000 per year in the UK alone. Sadly, the pregnancy cannot be moved or saved and there can be far-reaching physical and emotional impacts for those affected. You can read about the experience and impact of ectopic pregnancies through the personal stories shared by some who have lost their pregnancy in this way.
Why support The EPT?
The Ectopic Pregnancy Trust is the leading charity on ectopic pregnancy.
We are a small yet impactful charity, providing answers to many common questions through our medically evidenced and reviewed website and offer empathic peer-to-peer support to anyone who needs us. We are there for as long as anyone wishes following diagnosis, through treatment and recovery, and if and when they wish to try to conceive again. We are trusted by the NHS, inform government policy, and support research.
There remains vital work to be done in raising awareness, improving timely diagnosis, and supporting those so painfully impacted, both physically and emotionally. We are relentlessly driven by our cause.
We receive no Government or NHS funding and require at least £200,000 per year to continue our efforts in education, research, and community support. Donations are vital to keep us going!
How would our corporate support make a difference?
Whatever the size of your business, your support amplifies The EPT’s impact by helping our life-saving information and research go further and faster.
We rely on financial support and welcome the opportunity to create meaningful conversation and community in the workplace. All financial support and volunteer time goes a long way.
