Researchers at the University of Aberdeen are looking for volunteers to provide their views on a possible new trial to investigate a new medical treatment for ectopic pregnancy. There are several ways in which you could get involved, including focus groups and online discussion forums.
If you have had methotrexate to treat an ectopic pregnancy (medical management) in the United Kingdom within the last 5 years and would be willing to give your thoughts on this new trial idea, please contact kelly.gray@abdn.ac.uk or a.woolner@abdn.ac.uk by Tuesday 21 February.
How The EPT supports research
Through the support we provide, we hear first-hand accounts from people who experience ectopic pregnancy and their partners who share their lived-experiences. In this way, we are equipped to be able to provide the patients’ voice to inform help inform research. You can read more about the research we have been involved in on our website.
We would like to remind anyone considering assisting with views for research that our support services are available.
