David and Zoe completed the Cheltenham 10k this June to raise money and awareness for The Ectopic Pregnancy Trust due to them very sadly losing a baby to an ectopic pregnancy and Zoe having one of her Fallopian tubes removed.
The day itself was hard going and emotional. We are so proud of them as they got through it together. Taking on a challenge and raising funds and awareness cannot be underestimated as to the emotional strain, preparing for the event, sharing your story with friends and families and then doing the actual event can bring back many memories. It is important to be in a space that you feel ready, have support around you and remember we, at the Trust, are always here for our fundraisers.
