Dominic and Richard Cycle 436.5 miles from Suffolk to Lands End

Dominic, Samantha and Richard's Story

Dominic and Richard planned to cycle 425 miles roughly from Suffolk to Lands End in Cornwall, they ended up cycling 436.5 miles. Which equalled to 24,512ft elevation. This was completed in June 2024, to raise awareness for The Ectopic Pregnancy Trust.

The reason they chose this epic challenge was because Samantha and Dominic were unfortunate enough to experience the terrible sadness of two ectopic pregnancies during 2022, leaving their hearts empty.  They say how very thankful they are for The Ectopic Pregnancy Trust for our support throughout both.

The actual ride was incredibly tough, Dominic said that the sudden heatwave that descended really made the riding a struggle with no breeze and a lot of elevation.  Then they had to contend with 30mph head winds and some rain, such typical British summer weather.  Dominic said that the cycle was emotionally challenging for himself.

For more updates and photos from the actual ride do take a look at their JustGiving page

Our huge thanks goes out to the EPT Peddlers and Samantha, raising essential funds and awareness.
