From Coast to Coast: Ross’ 105-Mile Challenge for The EPT

Ross' story

In March this year, my wife had a ruptured ectopic pregnancy, which led to us almost losing her. Thankfully, The EPT had a lot of information and support available for my wife during her recovery.

As for the event itself, I’d say it was one of the most rewarding challenges I’ve done so far. I went into it with an underestimation of how hard it would be, but with the support from my family and the organisers it was made to be so much more enjoyable. The good weather for the majority played a massive part also.

What’s next for Ross:

The Rat Race Coast to Coast is one of the UK’s most iconic multi-sport challenges, and Ross covered an astonishing 105 miles completing it. Not stopping there, Ross’ next adventure will be running the Cardiff Half Marathon in October, once again in support of The Ectopic Pregnancy Trust.

You can read more about Ross’ fundraising, or sponsor him on his fundraising page.

We’re so grateful to Ross for taking on these incredible challenges and for choosing to support The EPT. His efforts not only raise vital funds but also help shine a light on the impact of ectopic pregnancy and the support available. Thank you, Ross!

If Ross has inspired you to take on a challenge of your own and support our work, we’d love to hear from you. Visit our fundraising page, or get in touch with our Fundraising and Campaigns Co-ordinator, Kerri, who’s always happy to help and guide you: kerri@ectopic.org.uk
