Hannah's Story
“I chose to challenge myself as I found after having my ectopic pregnancies that running/walking on my own cleared my mind and helped me to think alone.
I’ve had four previous ectopic pregnancies all resulting in surgery, and on my latest one almost undergoing a hysterectomy. Waking up from theatre that day and waiting for the doctor to come round to tell me if I had had my womb removed was the scariest day of my life. Thankfully it wasn’t removed. I realised after all this how dangerous ectopic pregnancies can be and how little people know about them.
Once I found your charity I realised I can help.”
Hannah did so well on the day and completed the half marathon in 2 hours 28 minutes, she found it tough, we are so grateful to her and think she is amazing.
Our massive thanks to Hannah for being brave and passionate taking on this half marathon, raising essential funds and awareness.
