Kiltwalk Series 2024 - Aberdeen
Lora took part in the Aberdeen Kilt Walk and had a great and sunny day on Sunday 2 June.
Lora’s Story:
After having an ectopic pregnancy in February I found so much helpful information and support if I needed it, through The Ectopic Pregnancy Trust. Hearing the stories that other families had shared I felt less alone and scared. I am still very early in my recovery but I know whenever I need support the charity will be there. I’m so grateful for The Ectopic Pregnancy Trust and the work they do for others in the same situation as myself, I’m glad that I was able to raise so much money for such an amazing charity.
Kay took part in the Edinburgh Kiltwalk last year and has just completed the Aberdeen challenge covering 18 miles, luckily with better weather this year than in Edinburgh.
Kay’s Story:
I took part in this walk on Sunday 2nd June to raise money for The Ectopic Pregnancy Trust, this charity is so close to my heart having suffered my own Ectopic Pregnancy 20 years ago, the day was brilliant from start to finish, we walked over 18miles in the blistering heat but every step was worth it. The whole event was so well organised and the support along the way was wonderful, I will continue to raise money for this wonderful charity and try and raise awareness as much as I can as having an ectopic pregnancy changed my life forever.
