Molly's story
I had a ruptured ectopic pregnancy in October 2024 and whist sitting in the hospital bed trying to make sense of what has happened I found the charity. The information which made sense of the ‘insensible’ and the personalised support I received from the charity was one of the most important virtual support networks I had. No email sent was unanswered and the discussion forum helped to make sense of the physical and psychological pain I was feeling, so it felt only right to find a way to raise some funds to help and support the vital work that is done.
Fast forward 7 months and my two best friends joined me running the Manchester 10k. All the cold evening running which were ‘code’ for weekly friend check-in’s somewhat prepared us for such a wonderful day raising funds and awareness of this wonderful cause and I crossed the line with my best friend, my health, and the support of the charity…a Sunday well spent if you ask me!

If you feel inspired to take on a challenge of your own and support our work, we’d love to hear from you. Visit our fundraising page, or get in touch with our Fundraising and Campaigns Co-ordinator, Kerri, who’s always happy to help and guide you:
