Introduced by EPT medical adviser and trustee and Chair of The Association of Early Pregnancy Units, Rachel Small, the agenda included detailed sessions on ectopic pregnancy, including an overview of the recent Pregnancy Loss Review, innovations in treatments, and sharing best practice. Munira Oza, Director of The EPT, is lay member on the AEPU committee and attended the conference with EPT team members Karen, Helen, and Sophie.
We value the opportunity to learn about ectopic pregnancy care from expert speakers and to represent lived experiences from the people that we support every day. The conference provided a valuable platform for The EPT to share the work we do and how we can support professionals and their patients experiencing ectopic pregnancy. We displayed our materials and encouraged healthcare professionals to use and distribute our crucial resources on ectopic pregnancy.
