Personal Experience. A part of The EPT's Words of Wellbeing

Dear Me,

I know it’s hard.
I know you’re feeling absolutely everything right now and you can’t make much sense of any of it.
I know it hurts.
It hurts so bad!

You wouldn’t believe how strong you’re about to become.
The strength you’re going to gain from this awful experience.
The friends you didn’t even realise you needed right now.
The love from family you couldn’t even comprehend.

Nobody really understands…
You’re going through a loss that society doesn’t quite allow or they seem to think your loss doesn’t matter.
I’m here to tell you that your grief matters.

Your baby matters.
Your pain matters.
Everything you feel right now, it matters.

I am SO proud of you!

You’ll see…
3 months from now
Everything will still hurt but you’ve come such a long way.
You’ve proven to yourself that you can handle this.
You will learn to fight the stigma of your silent loss.
You will be become ok again.

You’ll never forget!
Little by little,
Day by day,
Bit by bit,
Everything will all become a little easier and you just need to remember…

I am so proud of you!!!

Keep fighting, keeping spreading awareness, keep saying your babies name❤️

Love always,
From me x
