Dear Me,
You usually think everything happens for a reason. But you can’t find the reason here.
You just feel sad. So, so sad. But do you know what? That’s ok. Let yourself feel sad. And most importantly – let people look after you.
You know your partner never knows the right thing to say when you’re sad – so don’t expect this will be any different. But his practical support is always amazing so let him do what he does best. Let him do the cleaning and the cooking. Let him bring you chocolate and tea. Remember this is sad for him too. Reach out to the people who you know are fantastic with saying things that usually help you when you’re sad. Tell them what’s happened – let them look after you too. You are not alone.
