I had an ectopic pregnancy in March 2025, I had never had a pregnancy never mind an ectopic pregnancy before.
I had been bleeding since January not in pain just bleeding the doctors kept giving me tablets to stop the bleeding for 4 weeks.
I wasn’t seen neither was I asked if I could be pregnant, I have endometriosis so just put it down to that.
After the pills didn’t work I thought to myself I’ll do a test just to see it came back positive I phoned the doctor straight away. They put me straight up to hospital which after 2 scans I had a mass on my ovary and had 3 options.
I was very fortunate that I had options. I chose to be monitored every 48hours at hospital for my blood levels as long as they kept lowering I could continue as long as there was no pain.
After 4 weeks I was discharged and that was my levels down, I’m very fortunate compared to others stories and others stories had really helped me as mine was in my ovary not my Fallopian tube.
It was helpful to see others stories to see I was not alone, and I hope I can also help other women at this scary time.
If I could say one thing… You are never alone
