Team PES Conquer the Three Peaks Challenge for The EPT

PES's story

At PES, we believe in coming together not just as colleagues, but as a community that supports one another through life’s challenges – both personal and professional. This year, we set ourselves the challenge of completing the Three Peaks: climbing the highest mountains in Scotland (Ben Nevis), England (Scafell Pike), and Wales (Snowdon), all within 24 hours. It’s a physically demanding adventure – but our motivation went far beyond the mountains.

The inspiration behind this effort is deeply personal. A member of our team experienced, alongside their partner, the trauma and uncertainty of an ectopic pregnancy. Witnessing the emotional and physical toll it took on them opened our eyes to the harsh realities faced by thousands of individuals and families every year. Ectopic pregnancies can be life-threatening and often come with lasting emotional scars, yet awareness and support around the issue remain limited.

That’s why we chose to raise funds for The Ectopic Pregnancy Trust, a charity that provides vital information, advocacy, and emotional support to those affected. They also work tirelessly to raise awareness among both the public and healthcare professionals, helping to ensure earlier diagnosis and better care for others in similar situations.

By tackling the Three Peaks Challenge, we’re not just pushing our physical limits – we’re standing in solidarity with everyone affected by ectopic pregnancy and helping to ensure no one has to face it alone. Every step we climb and every pound we raise is a tribute to resilience, compassion, and the power of collective action.

We thank everyone who has supported us on this journey. Together, we’re making a meaningful difference.

Thank you team PES. Your support means the world to us. By sharing your story and pushing your limits, you’ve helped shine a light on ectopic pregnancy and shown those affected that they are not alone. Thank you for being part of our community.
