On Friday 19 June, the Ectopic Pregnancy Trust’s team gathered in London for our regular Strategy Day. It was a hugely successful and productive event. As ever, we value the opportunity to put our heads together with the core aim of how to improve our key services. We discussed a number of important areas including how to improve the support we give to women and their families who are dealing with ectopic pregnancy, enhancing our patient information leaflets and new fundraising ideas and volunteer roles to name a few – so do watch this space for some interesting new developments. If you would like to help us by volunteering or fundraising, do take a look at ways in which you can get involved.
At the EPT, we are huge believers in both providing support to those affected by early pregnancy complications for as long as they need it. Another key aim is for the EPT to provide information and education to help women receive accurate diagnosis quicker so they have greater choice and feel more in control of what is happening to them. We believe that by doing this, it is possible to reduce the emotional trauma that women and their families have to suffer.
